Basically you fill out a short form online, mail the socks in and then they email you a voucher to purchase new socks from the website. The only downside is that when the sock monster arrives at your house and steals one of them, you aren’t able to claim a warranty on the pair. You have to mail in both socks to get credit.

A tip for blister prevention

Whenever I stop for lunch or a break that will last more than 30 minutes, I take my socks and shoes off and let them dry out in the sun. Blisters come from moisture, heat and rubbing. The best way to avoid them is to let your socks and shoes dry out and cool down.
